It’s getting closer to my favorite time of year, Christmas! (Sorry I had to say it!)
I’m sure you’ll find tons of gift ideas guides on Pinterest, but what if you are shopping for a BLOGGER? (Or you are a blogger and don’t know what to put on your own Christmas wish list.) It can be hard to find good gift ideas for someone if you don’t really understand what they want or need.
No worries, friend! I’m here to help.
This list has gifts ideas for different price levels, digital and physical products, for newbies up to professional bloggers. You should be able to find the perfect gift for the blogger in your life!
Digital Gift Ideas

In fact, you get 56 products to help with your blog and life. And it’s only $27!! Starting a blog can be overwhelming with all of the things you have to set up. One of the most important things is website hosting. Sure you can get a free blog on a platform like Blogger or WordPress.COM (different than WordPress.ORG!) but in order to really make money with a blog, you have to use a self-hosted platform like WordPress.ORG. Which means you have to pay for hosting.
Hosting
I am currently using SiteGround and Bluehost for my different blogs. They are both better than what I started out with! (I won’t say on here, but you can ask me.) Bluehost is great when you’re starting out and you need it to be super easy. SiteGround is a tad more difficult to set up, even for me! But they both have superb service! If you have any problems, just chat with their customer service reps and they’ll help you out.
Themes
A beautiful theme is something every blogger wants. It was one of the first things I bought for my blog. Let me tell you, there are a TON of themes out there. My recommendation is to start with the Genesis Framework and then get a compatible child theme. My favorite themes have come from Restored 316, Pretty Darn Cute Designs, and BluChic.
I’m using Anchored on the Genesis Framework on this website. I LOVE IT!
Confused about why you need the Genesis Framework as well as a theme? This free guide has all the answers. Click here to download The Genesis Guide for Absolute Beginners.
Plugins
As a user of WordPress, plugins are very helpful to make things function on my blog. But it is better to have as few plugins as possible. A great plugin to use is MiloTree. It is a pop up that can lead people to sign up for your email list or follow you on social media. One of my new favorites is from WP Tasty. It is called Tasty Pins and it gives you the option to put in customized Pinterest descriptions for your pins. WP Tasty also has Tasty Links (which I’m getting next!!) and Tasty Recipes, which is fantastic for food bloggers.
Email Marketing Service
For the bloggers who really want to build a business from their blog, they need to have an email list. And with that comes an email service provider. One of my all-time faves (and a lot of other bloggers’ too!) is ConvertKit. It was made for bloggers. It isn’t the cheapest available, but it my opinion it’s the best. My favorite free email service provider (for up to 1000 subscribers!) is MailerLite. It is about as close to the functionality of ConverKit that you can get for free. Definitely worth checking out.
Courses and Training
There are hundreds of blogging courses available online. It can be overwhelming. I have signed up for so many and not finished them. But I have a few favorites that I definitely recommend!
Elite Blog Academy – I first got this course several years ago and it has changed my blogging forever! It made me think about it more as a business than just a hobby.
The Business Lounge – This is a membership that has a whole collection of courses for blogging and business. Kimberly is amazing. I love her stuff!
Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers – Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to monetize a blog. This course teaches all the ins and outs.
Pinteresting Strategies – One of the best sources of traffic for bloggers is Pinterest. Carly has put all her strategies in this course!
Get Paid to Pin – This course adds affiliate marketing and Pinterest together. Which just takes the monetization to a whole new level.
Date Your List – Since the email list is one of the most important things for a blogging business, this course will teach you to turn your subscribers into raving fans and buyers.
Physical Gift Ideas
Since I work from home I also have a home office. Which of course I want to decorate with cute things! Here are some cute ideas for a blogger’s office.
Office Decor
Cute desk organizer to keep everything in place.
Inspiring desk art to keep dreams flowing.
Adorable mug for the blogger who loves coffee!! (or tea)
Photography Gear
Professional camera for taking beautiful blog photos. Definitely one of the best business purchases I’ve made.
Of course, to really get those amazing photos, you need photo props and lighting tools for flat lays and blog photos.
Books
I think you can never have too many books. On the other hand, there are so many books out there that you might need help in picking the best ones. Here are some book gift ideas that I think are great for bloggers.
